I am so excited! Meet my new website! I have been working on this for ages with a most wonderful web builder Crystal Stranaghan, and it’s finally up and running. It’s been a bit of a learning curve for me because, previously, I had someone updating things for me! Now I’m on my own! A bit scary, but kind of exciting too.  It took me mere minutes to screw up the first several pages while trying to make minuscule changes.  I won’t tell you how long it took me to undo themI

My first order of business is to invite you all to the Sidney Lit Festival coming up in the YYJ area this weekend. Reading, writing and life-long-learning go hand in hand, so I am very excited to be taking a poetry workshop from Carla Funk, a wonderful local poet.  I only wish that she and Susan Juby weren’t presenting at the exact same time because I love Susan Juby’s books, sense of humour and to be honest, her dogs (although I confess I have only met them through social media). So, I am hoping this doesn’t disappear on me before I get it posted! I figure that if you can read it, I’m on my way to being a website pro.  If not, back to the drawing board.  Until next time…
